This is the Star Wars Republic Commando Fix mod. It should fix this as well as several other issues. To install, download the .zip file, then extract it using the following file path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Republic Commando\GameData\System

it will ask if you want to replace duplicate files, just say yes.

your crash should be resolved, as well as sensitivity and bump mapping issues, and you will now have the ability to set your resolution to something appropriate for modern hardware.

Found this post on reddit and the game is finally working for me!

had to download the fix: https://github.com/SWRC-Modding/CT/releases, and this Direct3D 8 to 9 fix: https://github.com/crosire/d3d8to9/releases and place them into the \GameData\ System folder, and after opening the game, have them replace the files, IT FINALLY WORKS!

When downloading just download the files that have their storage size attached to them. They are the main ones.

same unfortunate things happens,, downloaded the above , apply and still crash

my computer sucks and it can run it

Tried the aforementioned "fixes" and mine still crashes. I played almost 9 hours before it suddenly decided to not play anymore.
