I had twice yesterday the games i got 25 turns or more into and the bandit event fired. Early game before you can get a governor in there is nothing you can do about it and you get negative events every 4 turns or so. Both games were juist a restart
Just play the game? Negative events are going to happen. If you just constantly restart when something bad happens you'll never finish a game or learn anything.
And yeah no clue what these "bandit events" even are, I'm only on my 3rd game though.
Actually reading the above it seems to be working as intended. I wasnt expecting new players to even think about playing with mods before understanding the game. Its the third of three event mods of mine and, unlike the other two, it perhaps is not really for new players.
The baditry one needs a later start or not to trigger every game. I'm not a particular noob but that is a big detrimental event to have going on for a long time before you can get a citadel down and this a governor
I'll certainly have a look and see what I can do. Banditry is SUPPOSED to be annoying however. I just played a game where a city without a garrison got banditry, built garrison, installed governor, ran mission only for the bandits to decamp to another city! Then just as I rid that city of bandits, the slaver ship crashed and ANOTHER city got bandits. I was furious! And its my mod! ;-)
