I've played the game for 19 minutes and it's only crashed my computer twice.

So what could be wrong on your end? Did you submit bug reports, available ingame? I play with other human players for quite some time and we never experienced crashes.

Edit: By chance, do you make use of outdated mods, what could cause the issues you're experiencing? In your case I'd report your issue on Old World Discord server, too.

Using a 13th or 14th gen Intel K series CPU? If so I recommend reading up on their power issues which is a common cause of crashes. See https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-NlsBONzmRGI0BqSscZchJCFt9sMLLREeDoVpPyUJCw/
