Changelog

Fixed a bug with upgrades not working when playing the game due to localization text.
Fixed a bug where the game doesn't start properly in easy mode sometimes
Adjusted food that are small in size to require fewer times to eat so that the food size won't get too small and be difficult to eat.
Pestman AI Fire spray now checks for line of sight, hiding in objects will no longer cause you to get damaged by fire spray.
You can now exit out of a Rat Squeak animation by moving, previously the rat movement was locked due to the animation. This has a default cooldown of 2.6 seconds.
Reduced key hold duration from 3 seconds to 2 seconds
Reduced disinfector hold duration from 4 seconds to 2.5 seconds.
Increased damage by thrown objects to pestman boss during boss fight
Your rat companion will no longer slide down slopes if they are stationary.
Your rat companion will now have an easier time climbing up slopes.
Fixed a rare bug when the humans eat your poisoned food
Made adjustments so that it is easier to pick up food / interact with objects.

Version 0.14 is a big update that introduces major features and this will mark the full release of Rat Simulator on Steam.

We also added in a General FAQ Page for the game.

Upcoming Version 0.14

Version 0.14 is a big update that introduces major features. It should be ready in the main build in a few weeks time and Rat Simulator will be out of Early access after this version is released.

To access the beta build

Right click on Rat Simulator in your Steam Client and select Properties. From the Properties window, select Betas and type the beta access code ratsimulatortest to get access to the beta.

Next, select the beta branch 'testing - ' and restart steam to play Rat Simulator on the beta build.

General Improvements - Version 0.12

Version 0.12's main update is about improving the flow of the tutorial which is the first house you will be infecting in the game.

Autosave is now enabled which means you don't have to restart from scratch again should you perish to the pestman.

This version is not guaranteed to be compatible with old save files.
