noob asking noob question
i was knight one night and i attacked the assassin, the next day it said that i killed myself and the target was innocent, can someone explain?

Maybe a scorned or a herbalist did some trickery to make them appear to be unseen, that or it might be a new glitch.

Then again, I think the scorned thing only works if the target is executed, idk tbh, but it's likely to do with a disguise type ability.

Did you stay to the end to see his true class... He may have been framed to look like an assassin... or perhaps he wasn't an assassin when you tried to kill him but was converted later. A few too many variables to judge it without a heck of a lot more context.
