I saw it in theatre on release and while this is certainly watchable, I really don't recommend this version of the movie. grab it on blu-ray, the 800p resolution really loses out on the smaller details
Dude you have no idea this is technicaly 1080P because the movie wasnt Made in 16:9 if this movie was Made in 16:9 then the Resolution would be 1920x1080P the movie was Made for cinemas this means the aspect Ratio is sometimes 2.40:1 even blu rays are not always 1080P most of them are still 1920x800 with black bars important here are just the 1920 this Version of John wick 2 is equal with a blu ray you cant Watch a movie what was Made with a aspect Ratio of 2:40.1 on a 16:9 screen without having blackbars
SHORT : 1920X800 means fullHD
It is not equal with blu-ray lol
This is equal to a torrent rip -- typical blu-ray discs are 25 GB in size, but they scale all the way to 50, 100 and even 200 + GB depending on how many layers the disc has.
The bitrate is very low, especially for a 1080p movie. Action scenes can appear blurry, messy and altogether gross compared to a physical copy. It ruins the atmosphere in many places and really is not the best way to watch the movie. It's tolerable at best
The bitrate is a Another Thing you have mentioned that this movie runs with 800P and black bars the blu ray Version also has black bars and this Version has the same quality like a blu ray both are 1080P and btw i have both Versions and in Terms of Quality they are same.
