Lens location
It would seem that I completed the game and yet I didn't seem to find the lens

Get the lens.

is someone able to point me to the right direction as to where this is or how to get it?

Sorry, I only saw this now. After the Dark Ruins room where you get chased by a statue, there is a smaller room that has the lens in it. To get there, you need to use the Minecart to get to Dark Ruins the same way as the first time. You won't be chased again though.

so is this something that has to be done the second time going to Dark Ruins area? I really have been enjoying the game but have been starting to get dizzy while playing it so that's why I haven't gone for the speedrun etc as I don't think I could do it in one sitting.

No it can be done the first time going to Dark Ruins, but if someone miss it or for other reasons don't pick it up, they'll have to go back there if they want it.
