Wasted potential

This game could've been great and on par with a lot of other popular strategy games, I am not a fan of the direction it's going in now. From what I'm seeing they put a LOT of the cards locked behind paywalls so if you dump money you'll get more and even a battlepass. I have no idea why you guys thought it was a good idea that wanting more money from players where the player base is just nonexistent was a good idea and after wiping my account that had 80$, making a ticket almost a week ago with no response I think I'm done with this game and it breaks my heart. Your game is dead and to ensure that it says dead you guys put a wall around it that wants my money. Anyone who is still a fan of this game, go somewhere else. You deserve better.

I was hyped to see Shardbound pop back up, but honestly not liking what I'm seeing on these discussions and on web searches so far. Feels like the soul behind the game is gone, like somebody just revived it's corpse instead of resurrected it.

Sadly that's what has happened. It's a dead body limping around the steam store. It makes me very sad.

i don't understand why you think they can buy the rights to an old game that died because it didn't make money.... and then not try to make money. pay $30 for enough chroma to do the monthly and faction battlepasses if you like playing the game, and completing the passes gives you all the chroma back so you can do it over again. if you'd pay $30 to outright buy the game, that's basically what you can do.
