Liebe Spieleentwickler,

wenn wir in Deutschland auf eure Spiele zugreifen wollen, erscheint folgende Meldung:

"Ups, sorry!
Bei der Verarbeitung Ihrer Anfrage ist ein Fehler aufgetreten:
Dieses Produkt steht in Ihrem Land derzeit nicht zur Verfügung."

oder auf SteamDB/Metadaten:

„restricted_countries DE Germany“

Das liegt daran, dass alle Spiele seit dem 15.11.2024 wegen fehlender USK-Einstufungen in Deutschland „gesperrt“ sind.

Dies kann nur in SteamWorks über einen kleinen Fragebogen in ca. 1-2 Minuten von den Entwicklern selbst behoben werden.

Bis das nicht geschehen ist, können eure Spiele weder der Wunschliste hinzugefügt, noch gekauft werden.

Bitte gebt euren Spielen eine Alterskennzeichnung, damit diese auch in Deutschland sichtbar sind.

Please give your games an age rating

Dear game developers,

when we try to access your games in Germany, the following message appears:

“Oops, sorry!
An error occurred while processing your request:
This product is currently not available in your country.”

or on SteamDB/Metadata:

“restricted_countries DE Germany”

This is due to the fact that all games have been “blocked” in Germany since 15.11.2024 due to missing USK ratings.

This can only be fixed in SteamWorks via a small questionnaire in about 1-2 minutes by the developers themselves.

Until this is done, your games can neither be added to the wishlist nor purchased.

Please give your games an age rating so that they are also visible in Germany.

The game was retroactively banned in Germany because it contains explicit sexual content. The adult content questionnaire has been filled in correctly, and there is nothing I can do to reverse Steam's decision.

Is the console version any different? Because that one is available in germany with an age rating of 12.

There is no nudity in the console version and the sex scene at the end is shorter, with the more explicit text removed. The sex scene is still there, however, and it's still fairly obvious what's going on, so I'm a bit surprised it has such a low age rating on consoles.

Germany is usually pretty generous with Age-Ratings concerning sexual content. A shame that Steam decided to be much more strict compared to the official Rating-Boards here.

Just checked out the PC-Versions ending online and it's really tame compared to other games and media that are available with official Age-Ratings (e.g. Baldurs Gate 3 alone is much more explicit). You could always try to apply for a proper USK-Rating but that costs like 1.5k€, thus not really worth it.

Oh well, decided to get the game on itch.io soon to support you. Looking forward to play it!
