Game Analytics
You must choose to opt in to allow us to automatically send script errors to Game Analytics servers to be used for analytics and marketing purposes (just us saying that x number people got a script error counts as using for marketing). We use this service so that we can see script errors as soon as they happen. If an opt in screen does not appear when you launch the game you can change the setting for analytics on the game options toggle screen. To be clear, this feature is very important in our ability to fix game errors quickly. With our last game Harvest, getting this error data has been crucial in our ability to improve the quality of that game so please keep analytics enabled if you can.

I wish that you can harvest more data for you to improve / marketing/ develop your games
Like make a apple scilicon m1 native apps for example ? Since it’s the future and I’m using it to play your game at the moment

The engine we use (Defold) will likely support M1 in the future. I'll ask them if there is any update on planned support. When it's added it will be used in a future update.

We use the analytics for verifying after updates that there are no game script errors introduced, and if there are the people who opt into this help us automatically find and fix these kinds of errors faster.

Edit: Seems that GitHub Actions (a CI) does not support M1 yet. It needs to support M1 for Defold to be able to build its tools for it. https://github.com/actions/virtual-environments/issues/2187

I opted in to send script errors, I was just wondering if other people were unable to open either the older version or new version of faerie solitaire games without running compatibility for windows 8 on the game? I still run into the game crashing if i leave the main game to look at achievements or other pages, and also after running the game experience it crash randomly, i attempted verifying the game files through steam before uninstalling and reinstalling it fresh and still ran into the problems above.

What is your OS? Did crashing happen right away or only after playing for a while?

I run Windows 10, before I did compatibility work around it would shut down immediately when i attempted to run both the older version and the remastered version of the game. Right now I seem to be experiencing less problems but i try not to venture away from the main game play screen. I can at this point play the game and it seems much more stable the more I run it. I'm not sure why I experienced my problems in the first place, if i run into any issues being able to play again I will follow up with another question. I enjoy your game very much! Thank you for taking the time to reply to me!
