In my opinion its a perfect game.

I so rarely get to play this game that I'm giving it a negative review.
The game itself is fine after days and days of installing, registering for ubisoft whatever, re-registering, resetting passwords, and then a few days later having to register and reset all over again.

You better not plan to play it again a few days later or some launcher or other will need an enormous update and reinstall and reboot and then your saved credentials will be gone again.

If you ever have the feeling of having an hour of free time and you want to play a game - this isn't for you. It will take that long to launch the game every time with all the extra ubisoft steps. Not to mention whatever crap they had to install on my PC in the first place to let all these launchers run.

Assassin's Creed Origins is an excellent game that fans of the series should definitely play. The story is captivating and the setting of ancient Egypt is incredibly detailed and immersive. The main character, Bayek, is easy to connect with and you'll find yourself invested in his journey. The game looks stunning, with breathtaking visuals that bring the open world to life. From the diverse landscapes to the bustling cities, every location is beautifully crafted. The developers have done an amazing job of capturing the essence of ancient Egypt. The gameplay has been refined and expanded upon, with a more engaging combat system and a wide variety of weapons and abilities to master. The RPG-like progression system allows you to customize Bayek to fit your preferred playstyle. One thing to keep in mind is that fully completing the game will require a significant time investment. The main campaign alone can take over 100 hours on your first playthrough. There's a lot of content to explore, and it may feel grindy at times. However, for those willing to put in the effort, the payoff is well worth it. Overall, Assassin's Creed Origins is a must-play for fans of the series or anyone who enjoys open-world adventure games. The captivating story, stunning visuals, and refined gameplay make it one of the best entries in the Assassin's Creed franchise. It's an easy recommendation for a 9.7/10 rating.

Best AC game with superior graphics and very immersive in-depth dive in the history and that too in one of the best if not the best historical era there is: Egyptian History. Plot of Origins was amazing through and through, storytelling has kept every second of the game highly exciting as well as emotional, specially the end. Bayek is an iconic character and one of the best scene in the game is when you get to know how the logo of the brotherhood came into reality. Loved this game and still haven't played the DLCs yet. Base game itself is huge and there is just so much to explore and those you are history lovers, will definitely appreciate the attention to details and how the designers have brought back the history to life by creating some of the most intriguing and iconic masonry from the ancient history back to life. To the devs, designers, story writers and wider team, please bring back Bayek or dive back further into past to Old Kingdom or to Sumeria or Harappan or Indus Civilisationsnext. Will be playing the Mirage now, thank you so much for keeping the genre alive and one of the best franchise to get yourself immersed into.
