Speaking of DLC, what's with charging money for character edit vouchers in a 5 year old game? This should be a free feature. Capcom's excessive nickel and diming has gotten way out of hand.

Why do you need to customize a character's appearance in a game where you see a character without armor for about five minutes at the beginning?

Immersion? And I'm personally of the opinion that character creation has never hurt a game ever, it's always a nice bonus. Skyrim, ARK, Elden Ring, Stardew Valley, MH, No Man's Sky, Pokemon, Code Vein, etc etc, it's always been a good thing.

Player retention is important and if I could keep a player playing my game solely by having them editing their character's appearance for the 30th time in a day, I'd happily include it.
