Launching issue...
I really want to get back into Monster Hunter:World on the PC, but every time I try to start the game I get a black screen for a few seconds, and then immediately shuts down like nothing happened. I don't know what's going on or what I should do to fix it, someone please help...

Same here, been trying for 2 days to launch it. Was never an issue before.
I already tried updating drivers, adding it to exceptions in Antivirus and running it as admin.

EDIT: Okay, after running a bunch of scans on my system files, disk and memory, I finally checked the Win Event Log (Should've done this from the beginning) and saw that there was apparently a compatibility error with the KERNELBASE.dll.
Simply running a compatibility troubleshoot on the games .exe file did the trick.
Just in case anybody runs into the same issue.

I had the exact same issue and was unable to resolve it for a few days despite trying almost everything. For me what seems to have resolved it was running the game as administrator.

Hope this helps, and happy hunting

I runned Win event log, and it told me the error is from "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\dxgi.dll" so idk what is it...

Had the same issue, decided to run it as admin and compatibility mode on Windows 8 this worked for me.

After starting and doing my settings (correct resolution etc.) i took it off the comp mode and it works just fine ever since.
