scroll your items to find the net. (bottom right along with all your consumables, etc)
on PC press E - use - to select
then you aim it the same as a slinger, and press altfire, I think; I do it all automatically and can't remember the specifics.
Here's a tip; there are quick menus on F1-F4 that you can edit, too. They'll be much easier for accessing healing, buffs, and quipment in your future - spend the time to find them and figure out how to use em.
Easiest way to do this is to beat the monster until it runs back to its nest to sleep.
Walk up to its nest while it is asleep, and throw down two tranq bombs while it is still asleep (basically they are smoke bombs you toss at your own feet). Then place a shock/pitfall trap on the ground next to it.
The trap should catch them, and since they are already tranqed, it should instant trap them.
If their health isn't low enough, then keep hitting them. As soon as it is low enough, they will be auto captured (as long as they are tranqed and still in the trap).
