Disconnect issues?
Anyone else experiencing this lately?. It seems like over the past several weeks connection issues have become more and more frequent, especially in the middle of a hunt. The game itself runs perfectly fine with no issues. It's just connection problems.

I have not been able to play multiplayer hunts for a while now, after about 5 minutes in the hunt I get disconnected from the lobby. I can play hunts with certain friends just fine, but random lobbies and SOS flares are a no go.

The game is peer 2 peer (meaning players connect to each other directly for quests) so check your firewall and make sure to allow MHW through manually.

interesting; I don't know but that sounds like an anti'cheat's softlock system. I don't think the game ahs one, but that's the same behaviour. Maybe as the other guy said; explicit access through the FW
