Maybe you could try blocking them in Steam.
Modders are a problem, at least online. Sorry to hear what happened to you.

nothing in particular in MH i just hate seeing modders as it triggers my gta PTSD lol once you let a community start modding it gets out of hand with cheaters!

I literally feel like I live in a diffrent universe , cause ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ , 1000 hours and I saw maybe ....4 actual cheaters?
blocking doesn't really help, best way is caught the cheater and confront the player, if the person still insist being there, tell the Session leader and ask him to kick that player

cheater is a big problem in mhw nowadays and u may encounter them atleast 1 times a week if u actively keep checking players inside an online sessions, yeah sorry for ur bad experience :(

so yeah, just ask the session leader to kick that person or just announce the cheater in the session! usually if they got caught, one with shame will leave immediately, one that shameless tho yea just kick em out

800+ hours over the last 6 years and I have only met a single cheater. Plenty of people use UI mods, but it is rare to find an actual cheater.

To answer your question, there is no block feature. Shame, as mentioned in the post above me, is the best recourse.

Just block them on steam, but it's really rare to encounter the same people in a session anyways.
Not sure how much of a problem you're having with this. But almost 900 hours and the only people i've seen cheat just have spawned equipment. I have seen a single person actually cheat with a broken weapon on a Fatalis hunt. So are you sure you're seeing that many cheaters?

That's 4 more than me! Haven't come across a single modder let alone cheater. That's not to say they don't exist, just that it really isn't the urgent issue OP is making it out to be.

it's regional stuff.
some met 2-3 a month , some 2 a day , but i agree , there is no plague like in other games.
Statistically speaking at least 10% of people cheat in any given game, if not 30% as it was proven to be in shooters.

UI mod so they are modding yep thats an issue ! and again any mod use allows people to do nasty things and cheat and people will not be honest lol its like most the MH community thinks gamer are Honorable people lol and you can not tell who is using the really cheating mods unless they tell you lol !
