cheater is a big problem in mhw nowadays and u may encounter them atleast 1 times a week if u actively keep checking players inside an online sessions, yeah sorry for ur bad experience :(
so yeah, just ask the session leader to kick that person or just announce the cheater in the session! usually if they got caught, one with shame will leave immediately, one that shameless tho yea just kick em out
To answer your question, there is no block feature. Shame, as mentioned in the post above me, is the best recourse.
That's 4 more than me! Haven't come across a single modder let alone cheater. That's not to say they don't exist, just that it really isn't the urgent issue OP is making it out to be.
some met 2-3 a month , some 2 a day , but i agree , there is no plague like in other games.
