Not a bow main, but I will be for a playthrough eventually. I've toyed around with it here and there, charged rockfalls are kinda busted for area denial which you can use to set up dragon piercers safely.
Other than that it's kinda just a rhythm game of hitting max charge with evasion shots and mixing in that melee arrow stab where appropriate I think, that's the extent of my knowledge having only fought a couple different monsters with it.
Either constitution or stamina surge seem almost mandatory to main this weapon, though a more conservative playstyle would probably be fine with dash juices.
Divine Blessing 3 will help a lot with the defense penalty that ranged weapons have.
In general legiana gear seems like a no brainer for bow.
Probably just telling you what you already know, you didn't elaborate much on your current skill level though so there it is. It's a weird, but fun weapon.
