Need some Bow tips and tricks (Plus a fix)
I'm looking for a few neat tips and tricks beyond the usual "just shoot the bow but like shoot it like this" right down to peoples' settings that tends to make it feel a little smoother, if that exists. Mostly, I'm looking to also see if anyone else has had a similar problem that I do which is making Bow nearly unplayable.

For some reason, it'll just randomly 180 me for no reason as i'm aiming or shooting away, sometimes it's just once in a while and i'll do a 180 turn, other times it'll dart my view/aim around 2-3 times and will completely make me lose track. I've looked up answers and can't seem to find anyone else having this problem. My controller's fine, and I don't have this issue with anything but the bow. Help would be appreciated.

On controller I'd say you must be tapping LB on accident.

Not a bow main, but I will be for a playthrough eventually. I've toyed around with it here and there, charged rockfalls are kinda busted for area denial which you can use to set up dragon piercers safely.

Other than that it's kinda just a rhythm game of hitting max charge with evasion shots and mixing in that melee arrow stab where appropriate I think, that's the extent of my knowledge having only fought a couple different monsters with it.

Either constitution or stamina surge seem almost mandatory to main this weapon, though a more conservative playstyle would probably be fine with dash juices.

Divine Blessing 3 will help a lot with the defense penalty that ranged weapons have.

In general legiana gear seems like a no brainer for bow.

Probably just telling you what you already know, you didn't elaborate much on your current skill level though so there it is. It's a weird, but fun weapon.
If you're playing on ps4 or ps5 controller the camera swings could be from accidentally brushing against the middle touchpad, which makes the camera freak out
I played around with how the bumpers or triggers could be affecting it and it didn't seem like I could make it happen "on command" so I'm not entirely sure it it is but I know there's sometimes general camera jank in general during fights. But I had no idea about the gamepad, I am using a PS4 controller and never figured that could be a possibility so I'll try it out. Thanks to both for los answeros.
For the 180 swings, go into the camera settings and turn off mouse control. Also, make sure to use dash juice.

You might be talking about some of the camera snap settings. You can disable most of those with native settings.
the combination of food that give felyne sharpshooter(increase power of normal normal shot 10%) and felyne black belt(reduce stamina depletion 20% from evading and other actions) go to be your bread and butter for bow.
