**Bad Mirror**

I really wanted to like this game.

I bought it to experience the original Black Mirror point and click but with a graphic and gameplay update. I bought the original one before but found it too badly aged.

The game has many good and decent things. I think the story and gameplay basics are mostly good. The graphics in general are not out of this world, but they are good enough. The story lacks punch imv, but i assumed it was because it was an adaptation of the very old original game. The ambience and environment are very good and I enjoyed them the whole game.

Problem is it has too many unpolished careless features. It feels like an unfinished game. When you enter some doors it looks as if the character "unfolds" like a chair. Some door entrances lack a background when looking at them from the outside. It feels like a badly done pastiche.

The controls, there must be a thousand reviews complaining about the controls. While it's nice that the character has a sort of weight when he moves around, it gets you stuck too frequently in a way that gets too annoying.

And it's only now that I'm seeing you can press a button to walk backwards/side step, which the game never instructed me to do during gameplay.

Besides the progression of the story feels that it lacks more hints and cohesion as it moves forward, leaving you more devoid of a sense of direction on what to do the closer you get to the end. I needed to use a guide.

Then to finish the thing it has a bug on Linux that makes achievements unobtainable. You need to do some stuff with files that I wont even try. I completed the game and got zero achievements for it. Super basic feature and it's broken.

Only buy at 80%+ discount or watch a gameplay.
