I hope the next patch has a lot of new features, game modes and options that have been requested by many here. There's a lot of untapped potential with this game, and many of us would by DLC to get new features and modes.
Probably would be good just to add a full customizeable keymap for each parking spot, each cat, etc., so those who prefer the keyboard can use it more.
The call signs audio is spot on. I would like to hear these too. Clickin on & movin: "Yes sir", etc.
I LOVE the hotkeys for elevators, but they magnify an old bug. If you lower the elevator by key right as a plane is parking, the plane gets stuck in space and unable to move until the elevator is raised again. While this bug was present pre-hotkeys, it is much more common now.
I can't prove it, but I feel that planes "give up" on pathfinding more easily than before. I find planes stuck out in the middle of the decks more often. I'm a pretty accomplished player (all achievements), so I don't think I am making errors. But I'll reserve judgement until I play a bit more.
The DSSM medal finally works! It never worked for me pre-patch. I'm finally at 100% achievement rate, thanks!
After completing a Quick Game, I wish there was an ARM button. Pressing multiple time could que up more. Comment in discussions too.
It looks like the Tutorials have been revamped, either that or my memory is shot, take your pick. However, I've noticed in the very first mission, where all you have to do is fuel up a jet and bring it around in its racetrack, it takes a really long time for the fuel crew to get going. Fuelling does happen, but it's not as fast as in the main game.
1) The button for the #4 elevator slides around and sometimes lands on top of the helicopter pad, making choosing a helo difficult.
2) I've loaded an F-18 for blue A2G munitions. The moment its loaded, the blue disappears and it's a white plane. The radiam menu says the aircraft is loaded and ready to go, but it can never launch.
Never had the lift 4 occur but I've had that ordnance prob tho. I just refueled it then reloaded. Good thing I had another craft on standby cus the target was close. I just look at some things like there just crew errors. Making things a little more varied. I sometimes deliberately use damaged craft hoping the crash will result in a RES mission. (After completing a Quick Game & just messing about!) I would very much like more logistical, technical & micromanagement things to do but CD's meant to be fast paced. I hope if a CD2's ever created it'll be slower/casual paced so these things & many others will be included. A purchasable DLC could do this trick.
