Hum... not in the plans. There was an idea to make an "versus mode", but was scrapped to favor the main single-player game.
But, for curiosity, what comes in mind on coop for Dog Duty? split screen? Or each player controlling an individual soldier?
I've tested playing directly with soldiers, I think 3 or 4 years later. There was some ideas, like commanding the squad like Republic Commando (like, controlling a squad lead, and using some commands to order simple tasks to squad-mates). It was a fun idea, but reached a point where it diverged a lot from the main game focus.
So, maybe not on Dog Duty for now, but, it's an interesting idea.
