How did this game avoid all the DEI drama? was playing it and it has a bit of it.

hello you lovely people, I´ve bought the outer worlds on steam and wanted to play it. sadly it does not perform like I wish it could. targeting 120 fps isn´t working all the time and there is no option to activate dlss or fsr. also there is no option to activate frame gen. I know there are mods etc. but I´m not interested in tinkering with these aspects realting to mods as I´m more interested in cosmetics modding etc. my system is running a 3080ti and dlss framegen would be no option. what´s lef...

Bought this game on sale and just started. Got to the first settlement to pick up the power thingamajig. Not hugely impressed so far; I was wondering if this is just me whining because there's an excellent game waiting for me to learn more than just the basic controls, or whether it might be worth going back to playing Mass Effect? Honest replies appreciated, even of the "yes, you are whining" variety. :)...
