When i run away from the wendigo i just run as quickly as freaking possible into tall grass. Most often i'm then able to escape him.

Try double-tapping jump the moment he spots you, and be sure to run away from him, get as much distance as humanly possible.

Double-tapping won't do any good unless it's the very first stampede sequence, where monster's running speed is pretty much low and you actually can run away from him. The more totems you burn the faster wendigo runs, so no double or triple tapping will help.

By the way, achievements don't work! I visited your profile, Sean, and noticed you somehow managed to get 11 out of 13. How I wonder?

Wait, they don't work? That's weird, I tested them quite extensively (hence why I unlocked them), I'll check it out and see if I can get a hotfix out. Thanks for the info
