What do you mean from the Catacombs bonefire to Tomb of the giants bonefire thats close to Patches takes 20 seconds or less..... you dont have to kill every enemy you face press the sprint button and run to the next bonefire, there is a falldown from catacomb to pinwheel that skips all of the catacombs.

I think Elden ring made you soft.

Dark Souls 2 is bad
Dark Souls 1 is masterpiece of gaming history.
Tomb of the giants isn't even that hard to get through, it's just dark.
And it sounds like you forgot about the blacksmith shortcut which gets you back to pinwheel in like 30 seconds. And in the remaster they added a bonfire in Vamos place which can also be warped to.

i like ds2 , its not bad i think.

They added a bonfire by the undead blacksmith. You can access it by falling correctly off of the spiral staircase room.

I'm still playing it too (obviously).. I'm on play through #10-11 by now I think

Been playing since the OG, I have Remastered 100% on Steam, and several playthroughs on Switch, including a no shield/no summon playthrough... So believe me I am certified to make such a statement

Actually, I only just started playing the steam version of 2 recently. It's on my list to 100%, but it bores the hell out of me trying to play it.

Yup I found this after posting here, still lost all my souls but getting the bonfire there definitely made getting back to Tomb easier!

i like ds2 , its not bad i think.

It isn't good. For many PtDE, and DS:R players that's bad enough. It doesn't suck like plenty of games, but chose between them and DS2. Well, this is where they'll be.

I own and have played everything From Software has made, with the exception of their giant mecha games

Order of preference, PtDE, DS:R, ER, Bloodborne ... that's it.
