Dark Souls 2 is THE best souls game ever made
Anyone who disagrees in a casual who dont know what a good game is. It was the Elden Ring of linear souls games of back then. I tried souls game, and i always go straight back to DS2 in terms of memories and hours played. It was huge, lots of unique rewards by beating the game without dying, using bonfires etc. Lots of good pvp rewards, updated gameplay, less clunky, loved how you were challenged by adding more enemy density, loved the covenant system, bosses, BEST DLC of back then, soundtrack, just everything. I wish it would get a demon souls remake treatment =).

The new Lords of the Fallen is essentially a remake of DS2, the way it should've been in the first place. I get so much nostalgia while playing it. Bosses are kinda slow compared to, say, Bloodborne or Elden Ring, but that's exactly why I like them. They aren't zooming all over the arena, and they actually have openings.

DS2 was the one that popularized Dark Souls games.

Exactly, playing demon souls compared to DS2 was a cake walk. Always being challenged at every corner with several enemies brings out the skilled over the copy cat cookie cutter build casuals.

i dont like ds2 personally but yea. ds1 despite how much i like it, is a kinda bad game >-< to be fair i also like vanilla skyrim.....

fair enough reason though.

I'll play DS2 as soon as it goes on sale.

It actually holds up really well, just played it recently today right after elden ring. In 4K that is, the UI looks ancient but game play is better then DS1, a bit more fluid. Might play DS2 again after elden ring dlc.

This increase is from ER. Another reason why I will wait a long time to buy it(75% or >)

That's a strange reason to deprive yourself of an awesome thing. ER hype is warranted, if someone said to me "it is the best game ever made" I may not agree but I wouldn't have much room to argue.

Been to DS II. Don't care for it.
Been in Demon's Souls. The real version. Don't care for it.
Been to DS III. Don't care for it.

No Dark Souls player needs your input. PtDE or Remastered.
