Nekojishi v1.04/5, Expansion Pack: A Sunny Day, and Voice Pack - Chinese Discussion Thread

Hi Everyone!

We've just released Nekojishi v1.04 (Patch Notes Here) and our first DLC content for Nekojishi!

Nekojishi Expansion Pack - A Sunny Day features a completely new epilogue story that takes place after the ending of the main story with brand new character sprites and locations as well as 13 new CG's. (10 for the main story, 3 for the epilogue).

Nekojishi Voice Pack - Chinese features full voice acting for the entire game!

A big note that should also be made is that Nekojishi now also features a full Japanese localisation!

We've been working on all this stuff for a while now so I hope everyone enjoys the new content!

Since v1.05 is a pretty minor change from the last version when it comes to Steam users I'm just going to extend this thread to that version. Thanks for everyone's support!

Really cool! Will definitely get the expansion once I'm finished with finals and can actually find the time to enjoy it!

How do you start it? There's no option in main menu, do I have to beat it again?

To start it you need to have gotten endings with all three cats and have them on your main menu screen. From there you should be able to see a photograph taped to the wall which will take you to the epilogue. Hope that helps!

I wouldn't mind the price tag for the DLC, even though the main game is free.
But the art style also seems different at some of the pictures.
It's just a bit odd and a tad immersion breaking for me to see them drawn in a different way than they used to be.

First you need to have bought and downloaded the Nekojishi Expansion Pack - A Sunny Day. Then you have to have unlocked endings with all three of the big cats to have them appear on your main menu. At that point you should be able to start the epilogue!

Due to licensing stuff the Epilogue credit arrangement won't be added to the OST but you can find the full version on the artist's YouTube page here.

Currently we don't have any plans to do more voice packs for Nekojishi. The Chinese voices are all done by professional voice actors and if we were to record other languages we would also like to do the same. If the DLC sells well enough it might be a possibility down the track at least!

No need to rush things. If anything, this new DLC is a wonderful surprise to all the fans. The CGs would have been enough, adding the epilogue is beyond expectations.
