Ost on stream terms are different now?
I recall a video and saw an old post: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/app/567380/discussions/0/4687682349654438494/

Where the old terms were if the video is monetized or not it was allowed. But the OSt page now states: "The songs in this OST can be used in any videos or live broadcasts as long as those videos or live broadcasts are not being used to advertise in any way. Further, directly reuploading the songs in this OST with no other content is prohibited."

So does that mean if we have a sponsor going on we can't use the music in the background of our stream while we game or read the "call to action/talking points" crap?

tldr: Leagalise does my head in so not sure if branded sponsors count as a an advertisement or only if it was a 30s clip of just an advertisement.

People were using the OST in advertisements for their own games.
Refer to the listed allowances on the OST page.

You can probably still use them. What's probably excluded now is say if you were to have a sponsor for you video and you used Heartbound music - that's probably no longer allowed.

Otherwise for general BGM in your videos / streams its probably fine.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
