Disaster has stricken me at Buhen: The Soldiers can't use the Ferry!
I constructed a fort on the other side of the Nile, the one with Ostriches on it. When the Recruiter finally started filling it, for whatever reason, the Soldiers were constantly in the process of boarding the boat but they just wouldn't pass! The problem got so bad that 32 soldiers, the entirety of the force I dedicated to defending that part of the map were just stalled on there!

Is there something I can do? ANYTHING I can do to fix this situation that isn't just deleting the forts and just starting over? And is there some sort of patch, official or fanmade, that fixes this issue?

Are the soldiers already on the other side, but now they can't cross back? You'll have to use transport ships for that, not ferries.

Are the soldiers not even able to cross the ferry to reach the fort from the recruiter? Try deleting and rebuilding the ferry crossing, and make sure that both ends have full employment.

I'll explain the problem as thus: The warriors leave the recruiter+Academy and begin their journey towards their home fortress on the other side of the river... BUT THEY CAN'T TAKE THE FERRY! They just stand there locked in their animation, and I can't redirect their movement, either because they're et to automatically run towards the fort no matter what!

You are taking TOO long to complete the game.

You need to complete it by April 2567BC. Thereby avoiding the 1st invasion.

Ignore the request for troops.

Use ostritch meat for housing on the south side of the river and Chick pea farms on the north side. Import granite on the South side as soon as you can afford it.

NEVER EVER place a fort on the opposite side of a river to that of where the recruiter is unless you can ford the river with a bridge.
