Quick Save isn't actually a quick save?
So, not only does it not just autosave on the file I selected, having to manually choose a file and confirm defeats the purpose of quicksaving, but it's an outright lie, I just saved after defeating the Revenant boss, and since I was stuck, I took a leap of faith and died, upon loading my quicksave, the boss is alive, so what's up with that? It seems like it saves on automatic checkpoints or something? That's pretty jank if it's the case.

Can someone explain? Am i missing something?

From what i have noticed. The first f5 save in a new area does have you select a save spot. After that it does work as the 'quick save' as we know it.

Are you using the quckload botton (Mine is F9).

Yes, the game have a system of Checkpoints on key moments (Like grabing a key, opening a special door, bossfigths). But they not overide you quicksave if you, saved after you defeated the boss.

Something janky of you end, but always worked for me. :cleanseal:

Using F6 to quick save (prompts a box to choose a save and confirm)

Using F9 to quick load

Doesn't actually load where I'm saving, just at the last checkpoint.

Came here to figure out what was wrong as well. I don't think the developers know what a true "quick save" is.

when i want to create a long term save:
1) i create it example 09begin
2) i create a temp save, or overwrite a temp save example: temp

quicksave does not touch 09begin, but overwrite the last manually saved file: temp

i bind f5 quicksave, f9 quickload
