Can I get the good end if choosing to take the re-test?
After first play through, I got the bad end. This guide explains how to get the good end, but it says to "Support" Zoey instead of taking the re-test. If I follow the same choices, but just take the re-test at the end, would I still get the good end?
I'm not sure if I will make a second playthrough if Iris has to skip the test in order to get the good end. (I could ramble a long time for why it is objectively dumb for Iris not to take the re-test and why it is egoistic on Zoey's part to request her to skip it)

You can't get the good ending if you choose to take the re-test, but let me tell you that your concerns will be addressed in the good ending.
I was really angry at first too if I had to support Zoey to get the good ending for likely the same reasons as you, but I was gonna do a second playthrough just for the achievements. I was going to skip through the story, but I ended up reading through the good ending just to see if they would address my problems with that choice and they did. I think they addressed it pretty satisfyingly and I'm glad that I read through the good ending. It was definitely a lot more emotional than I was expecting. Just to let you know that there is sooo much more to the good ending, it is like 10x longer than the bad end.
Hope this helps!

Yep - The good ending is great. Especially because that ending is expanded. In the original game that ending was good, but had a big "loose end". That's addressed in the expansion in a very satisfactory way.
