Does this update take some ideas from Blade and Sorcery?

I don´t follow B&S closely but as far as I know they are very different games, the only similarities are that both have swords and realistic gore, that's pretty much it :) Which ideas are you referring to?

well also they have slow motion controlled by the player. HUGE plus for me. love that vr slo mo. do badass stuff i will padowan. also awsome update and cool shield with weapon slots. hopefully 2 handed weapons and some mechanics will get some love now? in a final stretch sorta polishing stuff and adding stuff way? i know at some point we will have to move on but i really love this game.

also grab mechanic needs some love, it gets wierd alot. i cant figure out how to loot the bodys?

@Masamune Gladius has had player controlled slowmo since way before B&S even existed, (and stabbing too btw ) so I would say it's rather the other way around :) Yeah the plan is now to focus on 2h weapons and polishing everything else.
To loot they need to be dead, if they are only unconscious you won't get the weapon.
What happens with the grab mechanic? Any info you can give me helps!

ohh i totally agree. this game made me wonder why other games didnt have a dedicated slow motion button. i want slo mo right when i want it.for instance when im cutting off a hand lol. ok i think the looting is done with trigger? also the grab areas are hard to know where to grab and maybe bigger grab areas. i missed the grab alot. and then sometimes the randomly cut into a animation of them getting off the floor when i do have them grabbed. but yea gladius i feel had alot of these mechanics first, and correctly. that said you should play blade and sorcery (theres only one spell) to see what mechanics its does good vs gladuis. gladuis by far has more content and more progression. but both run off physics and get janky in a hurry lol. try grabbing a body with two hands and they freak out lol. but yea i love this game.

Personally I haven't noticed much stuff in Blade and Sorcery that this game needs. More the other way around! But I did find two things that would be fun:
1) When chopping, not stapping: Your sword gets stuck in the enemy, so you have to struggle to pull it out with a huge splosh of blood.
2) Modding support.

Really nice update! But for some reason, it sometimes reverts the settings. I have to constantly turn distance down and slowmo off.

ya my settings wont stay. i cant get enemy closeness setting to stay no matter how i save it.i put it at 150 and it changes back to 300

Hey! Sorry for the delay guys. I´m going to push a small update next week fixing the distance and slowmo settings.

Chopping sticky: Does this happen with all weapons or only with axes?
Modding support: Quite difficult to add at this point :) but will take a look and see if it´s possible.
Looting with trigger: yes, will add it to grip too.
Bigger grab areas:Ok, let me take a look, it should be easy to fix.

. i think i got to into the game and threw my arm out so i have to take a break. also does the game turn my oculus boundry off. i see the spears to on but they dont show my wall. this games really immersive and im wondering how to get them up? or does everyone use the spears.

also the one thing i liked in blade and sorvery was the stabbing. like how it goes in and out slowly like its really stuck in them. but overall theres no story and not much too it. after playing gladuis i dont know why i cant chop arms off and stuff in B and S. its so satisfying chopping off a gladiators arm after grabbing it. skillz

@masamune27858 I don´t disable the oculus walls, afaik they should appear like in any other game. I use the spears because for me it´s easier to constantly orient myself in the game instead of just running into the virtual wall when it´s usually too late (I don´t know if you noticed but the spears have small arrows on their base that point to the PC)

hmm no i didnt see the arrows. but the spears is what ive been using. i have a tiny space so its a dont walk just move body situation. i really want to try the mode where it freezes you in place but i dont have space to move. thats a cool feature though and i hope to try it when i get the space. also is there a way to make slow motion last longer? even if it drains the whole bar.

The arrows are at the base of the spear, they are small :)

Slow motion depends on difficulty, the harder the level the shorter is slowmo. What level are you playing?
