He's playing with a keyboard and on screen it says "F - Intro" in the top right corner. A sound plays when those scenes start so I guess he hit F to start them.
I didn't realize you had to press a different button to prompt extra scenes in the middle of other cutscenes but I guess that's a thing? Does it happen a lot? Guess I need to keep an eye out for it, I think I thought that was the skip button prompt.
It says "Kangaroos can jump backwards!"
and she clearly says "dekinai / can't" in the voice line. I looked up the fact afterwards also and it says online that kangaroos can't jump backwards, so they definitely did mess that subtitling up.
Hopefully that's a one time random mistake because that was really simple Japanese. o_O
At 48:00 mins in Kotoko's English voice actor reads the incorrectly subtitled line "Kangaroos can jump backwards!" out loud because she has nothing but the incorrect translation to read for the English voice acting.
So the English dub is wrong also, lol, which makes sense I guess.
