Although I was not the one asking, I'm glad I shouldn't have played Ultra Despair Girls before the 2nd! When I started playing, I thought I was supposed to and felt I missed out on some of the story! :ccskull:

You are supposed to play the games in the order of their relases.

Technically, Despair Girls occurs after Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and before Danganronpa 2 ,however, if you play Despair Girls before Danganronpa 2 you will completely ruin both games. Like the first guy said play them in order of release.

Even tho a lot of people say „play sdr2 before udg“ I feel like playing udg before sdr2 adds onto the feeling of following the lore the way it happened, of course in some parts you lack knowledge of some characters or some sceneries, but I feel like that just gives a whole better „Omg so that’s what happened??“ once you start playing sdr2 afterwards.
