Im terrified of fish and sea too ( I have thalassophobia aka fear of the deep but its more like, fear of deep water and the things that could live in it, and i have the fear of the unknown so they kinda mix together), But i don't recall seeing any aquarium? if it was big then I would definitely be scared ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Could you specify in which part of the game?

It was inside towa tower in the second floor of the building there was some type of aquarium in the upper part of the walls.

I know that this is already pretty old, but, is the aquarium really that visible? I recalled having to manually tilt the camera up to see it. Just focus on the ground or whatever Monokuma Unit appears.
