People play mostly in Survival nowadays and they do spend a large amount of time in Private Servers.
It all depends on region and timezones.

its dead , as it should be , garbage cheater filled game , hope every single cheater friendly game gets what this game got.

The South American servers like mid day have about 50+ people on at least one of the servers for a few hours almost everyday.
