Not fake.
I downloaded it and played with no issue. Its basically just a separate launcher that can patch the game files.

However I am not the right person to tell you if its sketch or not lol. I can tell you it definitely works and I have played without any issues. Not many online though so its hard to get a full match during the day.

I downloaded this earlier today when I saw a post on the DBD discussions, that got deleted sometime afterwards.
I had 46 hours on the game while it existed and am REALLY happy to experience the gameplay once again after all this time!
More people need to know about this and start playing again. :D
