HellDivers2 reviews got erased overnight
Yesterday there were 325,000 "overwhemingly negative" reviews but today its a fraction with "mixed" reviews.. did the reviews vanish after giving refunds?

they're not erased, steam filter out off topic reviews so they don't count towards the overall score

Sony backpedaled and due to that reviews are going up again.

There were no off topic reviews filtered out

This, people are starting to change their reviews back
People changed their reviews after their opinions of the game changed. There is not currently a period of off-topic review activity marked on Helldivers 2.
I like how steam was able to push the game back by totally discrediting it with review manipulation, it's actually kind of cool , it shows what a tight grip steam has on these developers and publishers, and how steam will not be cut out of the loop

well that's usually the case for when people claim reviews were deleted

People deliberately changed their reviews back, there’s no off topic activity mark.

Also, users chose to protest the PSN thing, steam was actually a major good guy here by choosing to refund people well over the playtime limit, and also delisting the game in areas where the PSN requirement would have screwed people.

This. I was hoping for it, since the devs aren't at fault. Their game should not be staying reviewed as negative, if the fault was on sony. Now that its been changed, the reviews will hopefully grow back to positive.

You should really verify your claims, there was no change to revies as if it occured it would be marked and it would have immediately jumped baack to very positive if the reviews were not counted....

Yeah but you should really check before spreading rumors. Its not like its hard to see there was no period of off topic reviews marked...
Yesterday ragebaiters were having a field day by competing on who's the better ragebaiter.
I wonder how many of these hidden reviews got banned and reduced to "(Review text hidden)"

They were going to implement a PSN account requirement after having it optional since launch. It was always planned to be implemented eventually but the developers never properly communicated that not being forced to link a PSN account was only temporary. This along with the game being sold in countries that can't create a PSN account, which would lock them out of the game they bought.

Sony backpedaled and changed their mind about the PSN requirement.

Ty now I get it and what a ♥♥♥♥ move, stuff like that is not ok and a full refund must be in its right palce if dev's pull moves like that later on. Its theft of something u bought, in every way posible, if they try to do that.
