Take a stand in the eternal conflict between Arcane Magic and Steampunk Revolution and tip the uneasy balance between sorcery, elves, dwarves and mysterious monsters on one side and steampunk gadgets, zeppelins, and tesla guns on the other in this single-player, party-based, story-rich RPG.

In the demo, you will be thrown right into the middle of a deadly epidemic of the Iron Plague - select from 2 classes and play as either a Voodoo Shaman or a Diesel Engineer of either the Human or Elven race, and investigate what's going on in the Leprosarium; a hospital specializing in treating patients in the Slums district suffering from the horrific disease. With several ways of completing the quest and moral decisions to make along the way, will you rise to the occasion?

Realpolitiks 3: Earth and Beyond

Prove your political brilliance in a grand strategy like no other: pick any contemporary country, set up your government and navigate the pitfalls of domestic and international politics. A glorious destiny awaits - the domination of not just the Earth, but the whole Solar system!

The demo will allow you to govern either Germany or Mexico, and you will have 5 in-game years to show off your cunning leadership skills in the new, extreme Overdrive mode. At launch, any contemporary nation will be available for your ambitions, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe and everything in between, and you will be able to enjoy different campaign modes to boot!

VED

VED is a story-driven, hand-drawn RPG with a unique turn-based combat system and roguelite elements. Set in two different worlds, VED tells the story of Cyrus, a young hero who sets out on a quest to become a master of sword and magic, and save everything he knows from destruction.

The demo will let you sneak a peek at a very early part of the game's story - just enough to whet your appetite, but with no significant spoilers!

We have excellent news for you today, as the new instalment of our franchise, Realpolitiks 3: Earth and Beyond will have a free demo available as part of the upcoming Steam Next Fest, from October 14!

Therefore you will soon get to experience all the improvements it brings to the established Realpolitiks series systems. Some of the biggest changes are coming to the warfare mechanics, and we have prepared a detailed devlog discussing the changes.

Suffice to say, not only will you be able to fight on land or in the air, but your military and reconnaissance activities in orbit and even on the surface of other planets will be just as important on your path to total Solar System domination!

You can read all about the new warfare systems here, but we have also recently shared a deep dive into the similarly expanded political layer - including the influence of political parties, the RPG-like systems for individual politicians, the role of your country's Constitution, the new "Way of Life" mechanic and much more. We have amazing news for you today: Thanks to our work on the new sequel, Realpolitiks 3: Earth and Beyond, we have been able to incorporate some of the newly developed tools and technologies to Realpolitiks II, fixing a major issue that we have not been able to address before - the dreaded time-freeze bug. You can find out more details in the patch notes here.

We will be looking for even more opportunities to use the tools and engine upgrades newly developed for Realpolitiks 3: Earth and Beyond to improve not only Realpolitiks II, but the original Realpolitiks as well. We hope to prove to you that the development of the new sequel is beneficial for the franchise overall; while we are pushing the series forward with the new installment, we do not want to just forget about its roots.


However, we also want to make full use of the new engine and bring forth features and gameplay options that simply are not possible to implement into the originals. We would like to take a moment to introduce some of the many possibilities you can look forward to when the game launches later this year, from new combat system to a reimagines approach to your leadership character and long-term effects of your decisions on your nations "Way of Life".
