Game won't launch EASY FIX Windows 10/11 - 2025 !

Go to installation folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\WOFF

Go to > WOFF.exe > Right Click > properties > Run as administrator > Apply > OK

and also

Go to > WOFF_config.exe > Right Click > properties > Run as administrator > Apply > OK

*Note: Both of these .exe files must set to run as administrator.

*UPDATE* 2025/7/27
I forgot to say > If it's not working through steam Play button that's okay navigate to the game installation folder and just launch it from there by double clicking the WOFF.exe icon.

Thanks. I just happened to re-install the game today and this fixed the issue.

There is a goblin-icon exe that accesses the Maxima DLC. You can change it to the Cactuar Conductor if you want.

note:
If it crash again use the "WOFF.exe" in your game folder to start your game, dont start the game about steam.

With the Maxima DLC, did you click the goblin icon in the folder?

fix works for me, but once I click on play I am asked whether to play the game or launch [sth written in japanese letters] - what is the second option?

second question: what are the best graphic options (for full window mode)?

third question: is it normal that I cannot change the angle of the camera really when walking through the game world (default controller settings)?

I'm at least able to get the game to start but after I try to launch it the screen goes black and then the game closes. What am I doing wrong?

Are you clicking the goblin icon if you bought the Maxima DLC?
