So, like every other Ubisoft game, I'm running into tech issues. Far Cry 3 crashes at launch, and now Far Cry 5 does as well. Then there's The Division 2. Valhalla would crash after a few minutes. Ubisoft basically told me to go F myself because they don't care after you buy a game, and that support isn't really "their thing". I'm paraphrasing. I won't be buying Ubisoft again. Hoping somebody can give me some ideas here. I have an R5-5600X and 3070TI. With the game settings at 1440p/144hz and Ultra graphics plus HD textures, I am barely hitting 50fps. I do hit 60 from time to time when there is not as much on screen but most times it runs around 45fps. The sync settings do nothing, I have turned v-sync on/off enabled frame lock etc and none of that makes any difference. I am trying to get the game working but when I try to log into Ubisoft connect it does not respond, no error messages . Just nothing. This is a steam game so does it need the connect to start? How do you start the game in offline mode if you can't even get into the game menu?...
