When i load in i get past the loading, and get in to be a dummy but then after one minute it shuts off. I realized it shuts off at leet.ini in the console help please

I bought this for my son yesterday. Is there really no save function? He had a really high score and almost all the collectibles, but when he quit and restarted everything was gone. Can't find any save function so I assume it automatically saves progress? Also some steam achievments fails to unlock (for example when you collect the key and get outside)...

When I open the game it crashes or stays on "loading... probably"
