This is a problem for me too! Just started today because I thought switching to fullscreen might give me access to the Steam in-game overlay which for me was not working anyway. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game does not help. I am going to petition an OM on normal YPP.

Just chming in to say me too. Very offputting playing a game in a tiny box in the current year.

Finally got the game working, changed settings to fullscreen and now it's unplayable. Just a black screen with music. Can't even see anything to change it back to small screen to actually play.

Is there a fix for this? I'm on a mac

Same here, win10 2560x1440 (although I tried other resolutions. The game will run and appear long enough for me to change the resolution if I'm fast. Then I have to alt-tab out and kill it to restart, but no matter what res I choose it still goes black. The native window size is TOO SMALL and unplayable imo.)

If you go into regedit.exe and navigate to:

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\rsrc\config\yohoho\client

You can set the fullscreen to false, which will allow the game to load again. I have not been able to find a way to get it to run in fullscreen.

Man, I know this is a long shot, but I am having this same exact issue on both YPP and Dark Seas after changing the resolution and going fullscreen on a Mac. I was just getting back into the swing of things and am very disappointed that nothing I've tried has helped. I've tried downloading Dark Seas, deleting the entire app, and reinstalling as well as the HDMI suggestion. I also can't tab out and back in as some people said they could. Any help out there?
