L4D2 Workshop related questions.
I have encountered some issues while using the Creative Workshop and would greatly appreciate your assistance.

I'm a player from China, and when I launch L4D2 when the internet connection is bad, the game will decide that I don't have any mods installed, and delete all my files in the X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Left4Dead2\left4dead2\addons\workshop . When the server is back to normal, the download will start again. This brings some bad gaming experience, and also wastes the download bandwidth of the game.
Don't know if this can be solved. For example, when the complete list of mods from the cloud is confirmed, the local mods are detected and then the mods are added or deleted.

just backup your workshop folder lol
Sure can! Just copy and paste everything in the workshop folder to the addon folder: X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Left4Dead2\left4dead2\addons

That will keep everything downloaded locally so it wont check for workshop addons online and waste internet. Make a collection of the addons you have installed, then uninstall them AFTER you saved em to the addons folder, so when you log in steam wont bother with subscriptions
Did you use different drive for L4D2? My L4D2 is installed on the same drive as Steam application (on drive E) & I never have this problem.
You can move all your workshop addons to your main addon folder (not in workshop inside the addon folder). That way it will instant load, but the problem is that it's harder to identify one by one which mod is this because all files will be named as numbers. Only the thumbnails will help.
