graphics and sound glitches after 21 september update
Hello, after the last update I have problems with the game, namely problems with the sound of weapons, vehicles, also with the sound hanging, as well as with the displayed graphics, some appear on the screen
triangles from the sky or some landscapes with holes, also on the edges of the monitor there is a disappearance of the displayed graphics when you move the cursor,

reinstalling doesn't help

before last update on September 21, 2024
everything was fine.

google translate.

got the same problem, I don't think there's a way to fix it other than getting the game to a previous version

Modo willl prob post back at some point, so you should both list your PC specs.

after the update:
Pro: project dagger bug resolved, I can now continue my campaign as intended.
Con: graphics are somewhat choppy/sluggish but not so much that it's unplayable.

Really? Well that is good news if it is true.

I don't see why I'd be making it up ...

Adendum: I did reinstall (which I also tried several times before the update), so that might also factor into it.

I didn't say u were. It might have just been a fluke or good luck with u. U don't know specifically that Bethesda fixed the bug; unless u know somebody that works with them or Microsoft; or since the update they have released some news about it. I don't check-in on their main website too often these days.

That last update or patch or whatever seems to have fixed the Project Dagger bug, I guess. Better late then never I suppose. Would have been nice of them to let us or anybody know that. A bunch of people came to the forums asking what it was and no word on it other then it was some sort of graphical update.

I wonder if it also fixed that crazy glitch where peoples game would crash when upgrading the Phoenix. Still, it will be nice to no longer have to hear the babies who come here screaming for updates and demanding refunds and cussing me out or what not.

Gtk it's not just me. Exactly what you described (visually) are what I'm experiencing. Doing 4th play through and all 3 prior were several months ago and months apart and all on this exact same pc build. No changes at all other than the update you guys are talking about and nvidia drivers since. Was freaking out for past several days cuz I thought my gpu was dying, this game always looked and ran great until this time.

Damn that's crazy that they can just push out an update that ruins the game, and then just leave it that way.

Kinda sad cause I haven't played the game yet, it's been on my backlog list for a while.
Now it looks like i'll never get to play it :steamsad:
