boring and dull , similar looking and functionally similar ships . This very basic of how to make a interesting space combat strategy game is not achieved. Feels like they didn't even bother trying.

A pretty good space strategy game.

I am not fan of turn-based games, but I gotta say here it's a smooth implementation and it's not too tedious. The game is somewhat a "Total War" like game. In a sense there is a global map and tactical battles.

The "global space map" allows you to manage your fleets. Jump them to different planets, intercept enemy fleets, do story missions, repair fleets, build ships, build fleets. Manage officers so that you get some bonus points in your "army".

Space battles play like Homeworld except it's turn-based. In each turn you adjust where your ships will move next, left, right, a bit up or down. Rotate ships in a way so that turrets have angle of the attack. Use missile attack. Deploy the fighters, set them to attack or defend. Recall the fighters.

It's pretty good, if you like Homeword, you will most likely enjoy the space battles here as well. Even though they are turn-based, No resources gathering, but each victory gives you resources.

There is story, which alright...
