As someone who imported this game back in the days when it was new, i must speak a word of warning: This is not a good one. :( I would suggest looking for another shmup if you havent played them all to death already. Bulletpatterns and boss designs are pretty weak and the scoring system is utterly boring. I really tried to like this title (importing it was expensive) but ended up going back to stuff like muchi muchi porku and mushihimesama futari. Yeah, besides the obvious pun in reference, didn't expect Bullet Soul to join the PC/Steam library so soon. With its debut on X360, where it feels CAVE-ish, but with the bullet dispersing mechanic, which also features risk/reward for close quarters combat to earn higher scores. Be aware that this is not the semi-sequel/update Infinite Burst, which makes the layouts a bit different in terms of enemies, bullet patterns, and modes of play.
