Are people expecting small dev studios working on nice games to update their games SEVEN years for ... nothing?
Yes, the kids now expect endless updates AND a 99% price discount...lol. Back in the 90's you were lucky to get 4 or 5 game releases, they were ALL $70+, and if you got a patch or two in the lifetime of the game, you were really lucky. Games are plentiful and extremely cheap now...enjoy it.
if i was the devs, i seriously consider making an update of this wonderful game, only upgrading graphics and giving maybe the ability to use the seawolf in more place than china sea.
If you were a dev you would update this game basically for free? I know that lots of people bought it but after a while those sales fade away and those "pay once upfront" titles cannot sustain forever with free updates.
