It's been 4+ years since the last steam post. No updates at all for the whole time I've owned the game. There's a lot of stuff they could do, like custom scenarios, etc.

where did they go?

Yes, the kids now expect endless updates AND a 99% price discount...lol. Back in the 90's you were lucky to get 4 or 5 game releases, they were ALL $70+, and if you got a patch or two in the lifetime of the game, you were really lucky. Games are plentiful and extremely cheap now...enjoy it.

The problem is good game get abandon for profit of yet another bad game.
if i was the devs, i seriously consider making an update of this wonderful game, only upgrading graphics and giving maybe the ability to use the seawolf in more place than china sea.

If you were a dev you would update this game basically for free? I know that lots of people bought it but after a while those sales fade away and those "pay once upfront" titles cannot sustain forever with free updates.

lol, damn, i see your point. Was thinking about Red Storm Rising game which had SeaWolf sub selectable...but yeah i think it added some Russian units and was set 'from 1996' campain... so you are right, my bad.

i just missed the days where i could kill helos with a surprise sidewinder attack... but that's me... ;)

Uh, no. In RSR, some subs get a "Stinger Mast". There never was Sidewinder.
