Help [self-solved] - CW suddenly launching into black screen on Mac. Can hear audio, but no visual at all.

I was so looking forward to playing on this cold Saturday afternoon, but alas...

I opened steam, clicked open Cold Waters, and then clicked on a different window to close some other stuff while CW launched. Something went sideways, and when CW came up full screen, it was black. I switched back to normal desktop, and then back to CW, no luck.

I can pull up the Steam overlay, and see the FPS counter, but the window is just blank. I can also access the menu bar and select "Full Screen", but it makes no difference.

I've now rebooted several times and used every full-screen, minimize, open/close, Mission Control view, desktop switching, option I can think of, all with no luck. The program appears to launch, I hear pinging, but no graphics.

Help! Really wanted to play this today before my little one wakes up. :-(

So after a lot of messing about, including deleting and reinstalling everything, the problem was still there.

So I downloaded a small ap called Spectacle that helps control/manage your windows. I selected the invisible "window" and just tried assigning it different commands until all of a sudden it was visible again. Phew.

That was a pain in the arse. But now there are a few Foxtrots and Romeos lying on the bottom of the Norwegian sea, so my weekend has gotten better! ;)
