Aliens stop all activity
So around day 400 or something after having researched practically everything in the game (before taking out cleaner headquarters, but I had the mission to capture a live Mentarch), I got a popup for a "UOO" or something which looks like a long cylindrical UFO (satellite or orbital laser or something?), ofc with infamous "placeholder" description.

After this, aliens ceased all activity. No more UFOs, no more assaults on bases and no cleaner activity or panic. Gave it a week or so and decided "guess it's time to take out cleaner HQ", did that and researched the new research it gave me, but still nothing. Now It's been like 100 days with still nothing and I can't progress because there are not any Mentarchs spawning for me to actually capture.

You not supposed to play past day 200 anyway, game isn't fully baked yet.

The game straight up tells you you've exhausted the content around day 180 anyway, so it's no surprise it breaks down that far after

Yeah but thats lazy design if theres nothing spawning anymore.It could be just endless until they implement more.

It's an early access game. It's not complete.

I don't recall seeing that popup. Regardless, how could the content be exhausted if there is an incomplete objective (capture Mentarch)?

Yeah I completely missed the objective for many hours despite it being in the bottom left corner of the Geoscape at all times lol

It's an early access game. It's not complete.
No ♥♥♥♥ Sherlok,thats why its easier to make it just endless at first.Considering the price tag its pretty toxic to say "BUT ITS EARLY ACCESS" just to justify their decision that the Game stops spawning any Enemies after day 180. Its a dumb decision.

I don't see why they just don't let the spawns be endless, I can't imagine that would be difficult to implement from the start.

Hmm so this tells me it must be a bug, although I only noticed the complete end of the invasion around day 300 - 400 or so (wasn't really keeping track until I realized a whole monthly cycle had come and gone without any alien activity)

Because I paid for it haha and I'd like to atleast play whatever way I'd like too
