The main goal to beat the game is to figure out the frog's language (the symbols you've been collecting) and to communicate with the frog enough to get the ≈ symbol in the middle of the pond.
I've got a semi-interactive map here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1x44DRD9SrgASo47NcAhcmH1SiymhwQc-/view, open it in a vector art program (I recommend Inkscape, which is free) and you can hide/show layers on it to see where various collectibles, minigames, or other points of interest are.
A breakdown of all the symbols and items is here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rZXYr4aQcFszHBYuSvSdXV_B8406OZ1oC9SCQgbLRLI/edit#heading=h.upn9mw2vakjo, and I've got a speedrun guide here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IMSq4s900H7OaYXXG4te-SHF-Z-rhMZ-S2TbSSB5H_c/edit#heading=h.77dasycfqssy but those are both tailored more towards speedrunning rather than a standard playthrough.
I think the exploration, confusion, and figuring out the frog symbols on your own are a big part of this game's appeal, so I'd recommend newcomers use these guides sparingly and try to figure stuff out on their own, but ultimately it's a single-player experience and folks can do what they want.
