Bedside Manner broken?
Hey there...I'm working on one of the Wave hospitals. Mudbury Festival...and in the later stages I'm having trouble with them rage quitting so I thought I would train all my peeps with bedside manner in order to help with that. The problem is, I'm at the start of wave 4 and all of my GPs have Bedside manner trained and I'm watching all these people get diagnosed with a decrease in happiness or if I'm l lucky, no change. Is this broken? Has anyone else noticed this?

Ok, I don't know your specific situation, but there are some traits that you want to avoid in your staff and some others that you want to have, the same with the manners.

Try to avoid hiring auxiliars with the traits boring, gross, nasty and short temper, in fact, avoid hiring any kind of staff with any of this traits, if you hire them, try to make them only janitors or doctors/nurses for only treatment rooms, you don't want staff with this traits interact with your patients.

All the auxiliars that you hire for reception and the stores, train them only in customer service, why? The higher the level of this manner, the fastest the auxiliars process the patiens in the reception, also, they increase their hapiness.
For the doctors, all the doctors working in GP's offices, train them only in General practice and cancel all the other jobs, your doctors will get a 75% more diagnosis skill while working in GP's office, don't train them in diagnosis, this skill doesn't have any bonus effect in GP's office and you will only get a 50% extra diagnosis skill.

Why you need to do that? Because in wave hospitals you want to get rid off the patients as soon as possible, you need them processed and waiting for treatment quickly to get money, a doctor with 5 leves of general practice can diagnose most of the illneses in one visit to GP's or at least give a diagnosis above 45%. For any extra diagnosis room, you can use ward (with nurses only with ward management skills) or cardiology and fluid analysis (nurses here only with diagnosis skills), most of the illnesses in Mudbury festival can be easily diagnosed in a cardiology or a fluid analysis, don't waste your money in X-ray or MEGA scan, they are to expensive, the only doctor diagnosis room that you'll use id DNA lab, I recommend a doctor with genetics, treatment II and diagnosis II, or if you preffer, you can make DNA lab treatment only and rely only in Cardiologies and Fluid analysis.

To keep your patients happy, use only the luxury snacks machine and the luxury drinks machine, these ones increase patients happiness by 10%, and also try to keep your toilets well decorated, at least level three, and a lot of entertainment objects, it doesn't matter which ones you use.

And also an extra advice, don't be afraid to repeat waves, Mudbury festival is the hardest wave hospital in the game (and see that Camouflage falls is really hard and Topless mountain is a nightmare). You will get special waves where all the patients have a single kind of illness, this waves are wave 6 (100 patiens with Misdeweiner), wave 9 (40 paitents with soiled self and 40 with stunt trouble), wave 12 (100 patients with banging headache) and wave 18 (you'll get 140 patiens, the main illness of this wave is soiled self but it's not the only one). I recommend you to repeat waves 5, 7, 11, 13 and 15, you can repeat the waves if you don't achieve one of the wave objectives (this waves have research and marketing objectives, just don't do any of them), use this waves to gain more money, train your staff, upgrade your machines and prepare for the special waves, build many rooms for the illnesses that you gonna get and prepare your staff to treat the patients, you can also prepare for the illnesses of the next waves, for example, if you are repeating wave 7, you can start to build a Clown clinic and a Shock clinic, you gonna need them for waves 8 and 11, so once you get Jest infection and Shock horror patients, you can treat them in a room with all the upgrades for the machine.

(Wave 11 only have 30 patients, but the prices of all the services in the hospital will increase (I'm not sure if the triple or quadruple of their original price), I recommend you to increase the prices to 100% in this wave (not fun nor entertainment, only diagnosis and treatment), you can gain +2,000,000$ in benefits after each month that you pass in this wave, I discovered that after beating the wave, I didn't repeat that one, but return prices to normal when you pass to wave 12, increase the prices is good for waves with few patiets, but in waves with many patients, most of them can refuse to pay, more if they have to go to many rooms to get diagnosed and their happiness will decrease).

I know that I'm answering your question 10 days after you ask it, and I start to give you many advices you didn't ask for, but I hope this can help you to complete Mudbury festival hospital.

Thank you. I appreciate all the advice. I was able to complete the festival as I figured out some of the stuff you suggested like repeating waves just to get the money. On wave 9, I figured out to send everyone home that didn't have the specific disease I needed so not to waste everyone's time lol But I didn't know there could be negative impact with the traits on the doctors. I still see happiness going down at times and its probably to do with that. I haven't paid that close attention to their negative traits. Makes sense. I hadn't bothered with bedside manner since then cause I figured it was broken. I appreciate you taking the time to respond.
